Dr. Samuel Renihan

Adjunct Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology

Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Samuel Renihan moved to California at a young age, where he eventually graduated B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, M.Div. from Westminster Seminary California, and Ph.D. from the Free University of Amsterdam. His research focuses on Covenant Theology and Particular Baptist history, with special interest in the Petty France Church. He is author of God without Passions: A ReaderGod without Passions: A Primer, and From Shadow to Substance: The Federal Theology of the English Particular Baptists (1642-1704). Dr. Renihan serves as pastor of Trinity Reformed Baptist Church in La Mirada, California. He and his wife Kimberly have a son, Owen.
